The products are formulated with natural ingredients in a way that they meet the high-quality requirements of adults, but also the requirements of what a fragile baby skin needs. So, not just an ordinary product line.
Skin care without having to worry
French biochemist Sandrine Dahan developed the SKINHAPTICS brand in 2010. She had noticed in her work that despite all the research, testing and correct use of ingredients, allergic reactions and skin problems could still arise. Sandrine, now a mother of three children, decided to formulate care products that are suitable for even the most vulnerable skin: baby skin. And what is safe for baby's skin can also be used by other sensitive skins, such as mums-to-be, mums and dads. And voilà, SKINHAPTICS was born. The name is a combination of the English word for skin and the Greek word 'aptomai' which means to touch. Haptics includes the touch and perception of the body in the environment. The sense of touch is also the first sense to be developed in the womb.
Safe and essential
Because a baby's skin barrier is very sensitive and still not fully developed, it must be nourished and protected with great care. And this also applies to those who are pregnant or who are breast-feeding. During pregnancy and after, it is important to use cosmetics with ingredients that are safe for the baby. SKINHAPTICS therefore offers a care line with essential and safe products for the mother-to-be, the baby and the whole family. The massage products are SKINHAPTICS main products, especially for baby massages. They have been specially developed for baby's skin, but also offer 100% pleasure to children and adults. The Massage Oil from SKINHAPTICS is an allergen-free, vegan massage oil that is suitable even for the most sensitive baby and eczema skin.
With a clean scent & clean composition
Skin care with or without fragrance? Especially when you are pregnant or have just given birth, a scent can sometimes be too intense. Founder Sandrine has taken this into account: SKINHAPTICS’ scent is natural, clean and allergen-free. It will not disturb the sense of smell of the pregnant woman, the mother and the baby. Instead, it contributes to a pleasant, warm and enveloping experience. The formulas contain no allergens, so that every skin type and every age can use the products. The vegan brand distinguishes itself by preferring natural ingredients, but does not exclude the 'good chemistry'. This is necessary to guarantee safety and tolerance. Most products are formulated with 80 to 100% ingredients of natural origin, including 30 to 78% organic ingredients with the COSMOS quality mark. One of our personal favourites: Prestigious Oil, a facial oil that is suitable for dry, dehydrated and oily skin.
